The Guyana School of Agriculture Alumni Association (GSA-AA) is an alumni organization, with registered office at the Guyana School of Agriculture (GSA) Campus, Agriculture Road, Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara, Guyana. GSA-AA was registered in June 2019.
The GSA-AA aims to provide a platform for alumni to maintain the ties of friendship with current and past GSA students and the community at large. The association supports GSA current programs and activities while promoting the school and its contribution to food security and agricultural development in Guyana. Through the GSA-AA blog, an opportunity is presented for our graduates to share their experiences; supporting each other as successful professionals; fulfilling their potential and achieving their goals.
The blog has pages and posts on subjects that matter to members. If you would like to request a blog post on a specific topic, please contact the GSA-AA Support Team at support@gsa-alumni.com.
Membership and cost
There are two different membership options available – Annual and Associate.
- Alumni of GSA are eligible for annual membership. To join, there is a registration fee of GY $1,000 (US $5.00) and the first year’s annual fee of GY $5,000 (US $25.00). Thereafter, there is annual renewal fee is GY $5,000 (US $25.00). This option is the only one from which the Committee of Management of the GSA AA can be elected. Annual members have full voting rights and access to all of the blog’s content.
- Persons who are not graduates of GSA can join the Alumni Association as Associate members. The registration fee of GY $1,000 (US $ 5.00) and annual fee of GY $3,000 (US $ 15.00). The annual renewal fee is GY $3,000 (US $ 15.00). Associate members have full access to all of the blog’s content, but do not have voting rights and cannot hold elected office to the Committee of Management.

- Access to podcasts on agricultural information pertinent to Guyana, the regional and wider hemisphere.
- Access to training, seminars and workshops.
- Opportunity to be involved entrepreneurial activities and eCommerce.
- Attending alumni events (annual dinner, annual lectures, etc.).
- Participation in developing the alumni association work program and activities.
Join us
Annual and Associate membership registration process involves paying membership prior to receiving an email with a registration link. After receiving the registration link, the prospective member fills in all the required details Annual or Associate membership.
